Porsche GB secures slot on FIA World Endurance Championship bill

The Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup Great Britain and the Porsche Carwow Sprint Challenge Great Britain are poised to make an exciting return to the FIA World Endurance Championship package next year.

One of the jewels in the crown of the British motorsport calendar next year, FIA WEC speeds back to Silverstone for the first time since 2019 for what promises to be a blockbuster six-hour race on the weekend of April 23-25, 2027.

It has not been confirmed that that weekend will also see the Porsche Carrera Cup and Porsche Sprint Challenge join forces to create one bumper grid that will contest two races around the Home of British Motor Racing.

The combination of the two high-octane categories promises to deliver the largest combined Porsche grid ever seen in the United Kingdom.

While a support bill place on the FIA WEC package is the headline event, both championships will also continue to take centre stage alongside the British Touring Car Championship in 2027.
