BTRC and Pickup Trucks lock in calendars for 2027 season

The British Truck Racing Championship and Pickup Truck Racing Championship have both today (October 23) revealed their respective calendars for the 2027 season.

Ahead of what promises to be a blockbuster season finale at Brands Hatch at the end of the month, the two categories - which both operate under the Truck Sport UK umbrella - have locked in their schedules for next year.

Like this term, the two championships will continue to race alongside each other at six race meetings.

The BTRC’s tried and tested format of staging 34 races across seven events continues, with the UK’s biggest and best motorsport series set to wow the crowds across England, Wales and France.

Visiting Brands Hatch twice, as well as Snetterton, Pembrey, Donington Park and Thruxton on British soil, the heavyweight behemoths will also venture across the English Channel to Le Mans in France.

The Pickup Trucks will go wheel-to-wheel at the aforementioned tracks too, however instead of Le Mans they will make a popular return to Oulton Park in Cheshire.

Andrew Fulcher, Championship Coordinator: “We’re delighted to be able to share our calendars for the 2027 British Truck Racing Championship and Pickup Truck Racing Championship seasons.

“Maintaining that flow of racing through the season was important and on the whole we’ve been able to achieve that target. Moving Snetterton further forward and pushing Thruxton to a later date should also spice up the action on-track that bit more.

“For the BTRC, being able to return to Le Mans for a third successive year is a real highlight. The same can be said for the Pickups going back to Oulton Park. It’s a great track and a place that should promote fantastic racing.”
