Britcar Championships

Britcar was taken on by Claire Hedley in 2016 with the aim of trying to increase the numbers of entrants involved. The main desire was to bring endurance racing back to the fore within the UK being a category for those wanting to take part in longer races of up to two hours, usually with the driving shared by two people. The 2017 season will be made up of 8 weekends during the year. To help teams control the rising costs of motorsport the aim is for all these to be one day meetings saving on hotels etc. Race lengths will usually one 50 minute race and one 2 hour race at Britain’s Finest Circuits.
