The Classic Touring Car Racing Club and the British Automobile Racing Club is home to touring cars – with a class and category for saloon cars from the fifties through to the present day machines. One of the classes to get its season underway on the opening BARC race weekend is the Burty Haulege Pre-03 Touring cars, adding to a packed event entry.

Home to some of the more modern machinery from the Classic Touring Car Racing Club – the Pre 03 category welcomes two-wheel-drive, four-seater saloon cars marketed to the public between 1st January 1993 and 31st December 2002 – an exciting period for the lover of tin-tops.

Expect to see the battle between front and rear-wheel-drive, as battlers from either side of the Millenium go head-to-head, with the likes of the BMW E46 Compact taking on the Honda Civic at close quarters. The series often also doubles up and amalgamates with the Laser Tools Pre-93 Touring Car Championship field to provide even bigger grids and tougher levels of competition.

Five classes for up to 1600cc, up to 2000cc, up to 2500cc, up to 3200cc and Invitational house the saloon car shoot-outs across the country with battle lines drawn at Donington Park, Brands Hatch (Indy and GP), Pembrey, Snetterton and Silvertone this year. 

The 2025 season for the British Automobile Racing Club gets underway at Donington Park on the 22/23 March, with the Pre 2003 Touring Cars joining the opening event.
