The Trackhub.uk Pre-93 Touring Car Championship is one of the most action-packed grids on the popular Classic Touring Car Club and British Automobile Racing Club schedule with an exciting calendar of events ready and waiting in 2025.

The Pre-93 class is home to the hot-hatches and saloons from the fabled early nineties and will feature cars marketed to the public prior to the 1st January 1993. The championship caters for two-wheel drive, four-seater saloon cars that have more than 5000 examples manufactured in any 12-month period and will include the likes of the E46 M3 from BMW, Cavalier and Astra models from Vauxhall as well as cars from Honda, Rover, Ford and more.

Six categories provide the structure, with classes up to 1400cc, 1600cc, 2000cc, 2900cc, 3900cc and over 3900cc – with the latter including the flame-spitting Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth.

All eyes will be on the touring car billing from the BARC, with the opening round ready and waiting at Donington Park. It’s a championship that provides great spectacle from the tail-wagging, venerable BMWs which have dominated in recent seasons. However, with the unpredictable British weather turning at any moment – this could create a sporting opportunity for the lesser powered machines which revel in the damp and wet conditions.

The 2025 season for the British Automobile Racing Club gets underway at Donington Park on the 22/23 March, with Pre-93 runners joining the opening event.
