The curtain will fall on the 2017 2CV Classic Racing Championship this weekend (18-20 August) at Snetterton, with a champion set to be crowned.
In what has been an enthralling season of wheel-to-wheel action, this year’s crop of drivers will head to Norfolk for the now annual finale - the Liqui Moly 2CV 24 Hour Race.
Famed for providing close-quarter, exciting racing in a family-friendly atmosphere, one of the biggest grids in recent years will come together at the weekend.
At the sharp end of the grid, defending champion Lien Davies sits in prime position to make it back-to-back triumphs as it stands. Davies enter the finale holding an 11-point advantage over team-mate Ainslie Bousfield with Nick Crispin in a clear third position.
Davies and Bousefield have enjoyed a consistent season in the #24 machine and have at times been the class of the grid. With a host of drivers taking rookie wins in recent rounds, Davies will be keen to score well at Snetterton to add to his already illustrious racing CV.
Also on the billing will be the Lancaster Insurance MG Owner’s Club Championship and British Superkarts, both of which will compete on Saturday before the 24 hour race kicks off at 17:00.
