Entries for the Ginetta Junior Scholarship have now opened with the Yorkshire-based brand offering one aspiring racing driver the career opportunity of a lifetime, with a fully funded season in the 2018 Ginetta Junior Championship up for grabs.
Viewed as one of the biggest prizes on offer in UK motorsport today, the winner will receive free entry into the 2018 Ginetta Junior Championship, the use of a Ginetta Junior race car for the entirety of the season (including consumables) and an experienced Ginetta team to prepare the car throughout the season.
Furthermore, insurance will be provided by Ginetta in addition to a season supply of race tyres and fuel, as well as the all-important Ginetta race suit.
Last years winner Adam Smalley has gone on to enjoy a strong start to his 2017 campaign with a string of points-scoring results under the stewardship of JHR Developments.
Taking place at Ginetta’s own race track - Blyton Park - from the 23 – 25 October 2017, the scholarship is awarded to one driver who shines in the eyes of Ginetta.
Whilst driving ability is a key factor, the judges will also be looking for a marketable individual who shows determination throughout each stage of the competition. Fitness assessments will look at willpower, whilst a media interview is designed to outline those capable of representing the Ginetta brand.
In order to be eligible, the competitor’s date of birth must fall between 01/01/2002 and 21/03/2004. Any competitors who have competed in an MSA circuit car race will not be able to participate.
The entry fee is £396.00 including VAT and you can enter here - https://ginettashop.com/products/ginetta-scholarship-entry-2017
