Rockingham Motor Speedway serves as the perfect venue for the British Automobile Racing Club’s latest race meeting, with a bumper two days of track action in-store.

Headlining the show is the popular Pickup Truck Racing Championship, which will take to the oval configuration for the first time in 2017. In what will be the maiden rounded of the ‘oval series’ within the championship, top names such as Lea Wood, David O’Reagan and Mark Willis will all be in the battle for supremacy.

With speeds of well over 120mph being clocked around the infamous bowl and running mere inches from concrete walls, you’ll be watching with gritted teeth as the traditional thrills and spills occur.

On the traditional circuit, which encompasses part of the oval and the infield, the Junior Saloon Car Championship arrives for its second race meeting of the campaign. Open to youngsters aged between 14 to 17-years-old, the JSCC is renowned for providing edge-of-the-seat entertainment and this event should be no different.

In the past names such as James Dorlin and Katie Milner have graduated from the series as champions, going on to enjoy storied careers. Ethan Hammerton and Will Dyrdal took the spils at the season-opener but with more than ten other drivers hot on their heels, both races will be unmissable.

The Classic Touring Car Championship makes its first appearance of the season with a diverse range cars competing too. Grid numbers have never been better in the multi-class category.

Joining the fray this year also in the CTCC are two new classes that thrived in recent years. The VTEC Challenge makes its return to the BARC fold after a number of years away and the Smart 4Two Cup

Rounding out the action will be the jaw-dropping machines of the Kumho BMW Championship, who like JSCC will stage their second event of the year.
