Ginetta is poised to enjoy one of its most successful seasons of motorsport in 2017 with more than 100 drivers already signed up to compete across their championships.
Establishing itself as a viable ladder for drivers to move through the ranks of junior racing up to competing at Le Mans, the Yorkshire-based manufacturer has continued to go from strength-to-strength.
Once again, the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) will continue in the role of organisers of the Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Championship, Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup, Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge and the Ginetta Racing Driver's Club this season.
Speaking at the Ginetta media day, Commercial Director Nick Portlock said: "Down the years Ginetta has been incredibly successful and 2016 was testament to that. Moving forward, 2017 is shaping up to be one of our most exciting as we have more than 100 drivers signed up to compete in our championships in the UK.
"That is getting very close to our record high and it is a testament to all of the hard work that the Ginetta team puts in. Obviously as well it couldn't be achieved without our amazing products and it is brilliant to see both Simspon Race Products and Michelin remain as headline sponsors on our two TOCA championships.
"We have big grids for this year and a strong depth of talent in all of them as well."
