Simpson Race Products will continue as title sponsors of the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2017, continuing its strong partnership from last year.
The popular TOCA category, which is aimed at drivers aged between 14 to 17-years-old, retains its headline status with the commercial relationship between the manufacturer and Steve Perez, Head of Global Brands for the ever-growing equipment manufacturer.
Steve Perez, Simpson Race Products UK Distributer, said: “We're happy to be involved with the Junior series especially as being parents ourselves, we would want the very safest equipment on our kids - we are able to pass on the technical knowledge and experience as the Simpson Distributor to give parents the confidence that their Junior driver is protected as much as possible on the racetrack.
"We all want that for our children. And the knowledge they will gain in 2017 will stay with them throughout their racing careers.”
Ginetta Championship Manager, Ashley Gallagher, added: “We are delighted to retain Simpson Race Products as the headline sponsor of our Junior series. Driver safety is paramount to both Ginetta and Simpson and it is fantastic for us to be able to offer their products to customers across the entire Ginetta championship range.”
The opening round of the new season will begin on April 1/2 around the Brands Hatch Indy circuit in Kent.
