There are no more General Testing opportunities available in 2012 and the next opportunities will now be in 2013.

During 2012 there have been two half-days of testing in February, tests which are exclusive to BTCC Support race competitors and BSB competitors, as well as a half-day of testing available prior to two BARC Meetings during the year, where priority was given to those racing that weekend.

No testing remains available:

During 2012 the testing was split during the day into sessions as shown below and it is likely that the 2013 testing opportunities will be the same

The session times and content will be confirmed later but are likely to be as follows :

• 1300 to 1355; Saloons
• 1400 to 1455; Single-Seaters
• 1500 to 1555; Saloons
• 1600 to 1655; Single-Seaters

The cost of the General Test Sessions (inclusive of Vat) during 2012 are:

• BARC Club Members; one session £165
• Non-Members of the BARC; one session £175

Conditions of Booking :

1 Thruxton (BARC) Ltd. reserves the right to refuse a booking.

2 Bookings made without payment will not be accepted.

3 A maximum of 41 cars will be allowed in any session.

4 Under no circumstances will a driver be allowed to test without producing a current competition licence which will be inspected by Thruxton staff at sign-on.

5 Thruxton staff reserve the right to exclude any driver from continuing in any session should their standard of driving be considered unsatisfactory.

6 Every effort will be made to categorise the cars in each session, but Thruxton (BARC) Ltd. cannot guarantee compatibility of cars and drivers in any session.

7 Whilst this is described as “Unsilenced Testing”, all cars will be expected to maintain their Championship noise level requirements. Thruxton staff may take noise readings at any time and may prevent any car from continuing to test if MSA recognised noise levels are exceeded.

8 Testing Fees are non-refundable.

9 Thruxton (BARC) Ltd. reserve the right to cancel any of these sessions either because of bad weather or inadequate bookings. Any fees will be refunded in full, or alternative sessions offered.

10 Parents, guardians or guarantors of drivers aged under 18 years of age are required to sign-on at the start of the event to enable their child to participate.

General Information:

A Paddock access is available from 0700 hours. Overnight parking is only permitted by prior arrangement.

B Sign-On will take place in the Drivers Sign-On office (alongside the Scrutineering Bay) and will commence at 0800 hours, and close at 1130 hours.

C Unleaded pump fuel will be available on site between 0900 hours and 1500 hours.

D Drivers changing facilities and showers are available on site.

E Restuarant facilities are available on site.

F There is no mains electricity available on site.
