FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RACE MEETINGS AT THRUXTON

General Information :
The Circuit Gates will be open from 0700 hours. The Restaurants and mobile catering units will be open from 0730 hours.
PLEASE NOTE : Animals are NOT admitted to the circuit, paddocks, car parks or camp site (except Guide / Helper dogs assisting blind or disabled visitors).

Admission Tickets are available as follows :
Saturday 03rd April (Practice, Qualification and Racing) :
Public Circuit Admission Tickets cost £10.00 in advance, or £12.00 at the Circuit gates.
Accompanied children aged 15 or under will be admitted free of charge.
The paddock areas will be open free of charge to adults and accompanied children all day on Saturday.
Grandstand seat tickets are available for Saturday at £6.00 per seat in advance, or £8.00 per seat if purchased at the Grandstand entrance.
Having purchased your grandstand ticket, you may then choose which seat you wish to occupy.
(Grandstand seats purchased for children will cost the same as for adults.)

Car parking at the venue will be free of charge.
Sunday 04th April (Race Day) :
Public Circuit Admission Tickets for Adults will cost £22.00 if purchased in advance, or £26.00 at the Circuit gates.
Accompanied children aged 15 or under will be admitted free of charge.
Paddock transfer tickets are available, costing £8.00 each in advance, or £10.00 each, and can be purchased at the Paddock Tunnel entrance. All persons entering the paddock areas who are aged five years or older are required to hold a valid paddock transfer ticket on Sunday.
Grandstand Seat Tickets are available for Sunday at £13.00 per seat in advance, or £15.00 per seat if purchased at the grandstand entrance. Please be aware that Grandstand Tickets on race-day are for nominated seats; the seat will remain yours all day.
Seats purchased for children will cost the same as for adults.

Camp Site :
Use of the Thruxton Circuit Camp Site at this meeting will cost £4.00 per adult per night.
Payment should be made to the Camp Site Security Guards in cash upon arrival at the circuit.
The site provides access to fresh water, toilets and showers. Pitches cannot be pre-booked.
The camp site will open at 1600 hours on the Thursday before the race meeting weekend, and will close at 1600 hours on the following Monday.
In the interests of fire safety etc., it is not always possible to pitch tents etc. near to your car or motorcycle etc. Please take the advice of the Camp Site Security Guards regarding this matter.

Pit Lane Walkabout :
It is usual for the Organisers to arrange for spectators to be able to visit the Pit Lane during the Sunday morning of this meeting. Although the pit lane can be visited by all persons attending the race meeting, children must be accompanied. Entry to the Pit Lane is free.
The pit lane will be open from around 0945 to 1020, and visitors will be able to get close to the vehicles and drivers, and see the pit lane equipment. There are plenty of opportunities for photographers and autograph collectors.
Entry to the pit lane is from the Circuit Crossing Gates on the outside of the Circuit (near the Paddock entrance tunnel).
Spectators holding Paddock Transfer Tickets will be allowed to exit the pit lane into the paddock areas; all other spectators must exit the Pit Lane back to the public enclosures on the outside of the circuit.
