BARC Tin Tops Championship

For drivers who want close saloon car racing on a smaller budget, the BARC Tin Tops Championship fits the bill. This is for cars much nearer to road going specification than their MN cousins and all the cars have to use road legal treaded tyres from sections 1A, 1B and 1C in the MSA Yearbook.

The Tin Tops share a similar fixture list to the BARC Modified Saloon Car Championship being based primarily at Brands Hatch. For 2018 a varied programme has been put together and at each meeting the championship will have their own pair of races. The closeness of the 2017 championship provides the strongest possible evidence that the Tin Tops "formula" provides lots of variety and exciting competition.
