Classic Formula Ford Championship

The Classic Formula Ford Championship is for competitors participating in Formula Ford 1600 Single Seat Racing cars. The championship is based around two classes, with class A for cars built between 1st January 1974 and 31st December 1981 inclusive while class B is for cars built before 1st January 1974.

Formula Ford was always considered as the traditional proving ground for racing drivers who had aspirations of reaching the pinnacle of motorsport Formula 1. While most of those competing are not aiming to reach Formula 1 the competitive nature of events is not diminished with some exciting racing.
