Caterham Graduates Championship

The Caterham Graduates Championship is for 1600cc Caterham Roadsport cars, as originally raced in the Caterham Scholarship or Academy series. The five classes allow for the various engines used in those series, in various states of tune.

The championship emphasises low-cost racing and continuity of classes which has led to it becoming one of the largest championships in the UK. Nobody has ever been told their car is no longer eligible for racing with "the Grads". Costs are controlled with sealed engines, limited numbers of tyres (3 sets per season) and by allowing the use of lower cost "non-original" parts where these do not lead to a performance advantage. Strictly enforced minimum weight limits ensure a level playing field for different size drivers
